How do you program a Lexus NX garage door opener?
I am embarrassed to admit I have never noticed the Homelink buttons on the rearview mirror of my Lexus NX. My mom asked me about them when she was in my car the other day and I had no idea! After asking around, I understand that they’re garage door openers which is awesome. How do I link my garage door to these buttons?

- Park inside or close to the garage you want to link a Homelink button to. Make sure to have the regular garage door opener near you, too.
- Hold down the first and third Homelink buttons together until the small light on the mirror begins to blink green. Let go of the buttons.
- Grab your regular garage door opener and hold it close to the Homelink buttons. Then hold down the garage door opener and the first Homelink button until you get another flashing green light. Let go of the buttons.
- Head to the garage and find the garage door control box. Locate and press the Learn Button on the side of the control box but be careful not to hold it longer than one second or the control box memory will be erased.
- By pressing the Learn Button, you have about 30 seconds to head back to your car and press the first Homelink button. This should solidify the sync and open or close your garage door.
