How do you program a Honda key fob?
What’s the best way to program a Honda key fob? I just got a new one so that my husband can keep one on his keys too, but I’m not sure how to connect it to my car.

Programming

can be a complicated process, so you’ll need to take it one step at a time. Follow these instructions to program your Honda key fob:- Get into your car with all of the doors closed and locked.
- Turn your ignition to the ON position.
- Press the LOCK button on the remote you’d like to program, then turn your car to OFF.
- Repeat steps 2-3 two more times.
- Then, turn your car to ON and press the lock button one more time. You should hear a clunking noise to indicate you’ve entered programming mode.
- Press the LOCK button on any remotes you’d like to program.
- Turn your car to the OFF position one more time, then remove your key from the ignition.
- Test your remote to make sure that it works.
