How do you program a Honda CR-V garage door opener?
I have a fixed-code garage door remote that I’d like to get working. Unfortunately, I’ve never used one before, so I don’t know how to set it up. What’s the best way to program a Honda CR-V garage door opener?

Garage openers can be handy devices—especially for people who use their car every day. Luckily, they are also easy to set up!
- Start by bringing the remote within six feet of your Honda’s HomeLink buttons.
- Hold down the HomeLink button you’d like to program while pressing the button on your garage door remote.
- Keep holding down both buttons until the HomeLink light flashes. Since you have a fixed code, it should be solid.
- Press the HomeLink button you want to program two times. If it connects, the garage should open or close.
- If the garage doesn’t move, try the process again.
