Hi, I’m moving into a new house and have to reprogram my garage door opener. So, can you tell me how to program a Ram garage door opener?

Hey, there! I’d be happy to help. It’s quite easy to program a
Dodge Ram
garage door opener. Just follow these steps:
  • Put your key in the ignition and turn it to ON/RUN.
  • Hold the garage door transmitter one to three inches from the HomeLink button you need to program (make sure you can still see the indicator light on your fob).
  • Simultaneously press down both the HomeLink button and the garage door opener transmitter button.
  • While still holding both buttons down, watch the HomeLink indicator light. When the light blinks slowly and then rapidly, release both buttons.
  • Locate the Learn or Train button on your garage door opener motor, then press then release the button. Do this within 30 seconds of the previous step.
  • Inside your car, push the HomeLink button three times, holding it down for a few seconds each time. At this point, your garage door should open. If it doesn’t, go through the steps again to make sure you didn’t miss anything. Now that you’ve got your garage HomeLink programmed, did you know that many
