How do you program a 2014 Honda Civic key?
How do I program my new 2014 Honda Civic key? I just ordered a new key fob for my car, but I’m not sure how to connect it to my car.

has always been a chore, but it isn’t too hard when you know what you’re doing. Follow these steps to program a 2014 Honda Civic key:- Sit in your driver’s seat and make sure all the doors are closed and unlocked.
- Turn your key to the ON or II position, but don’t start your engine.
- Within five seconds, press the LOCK button on the key that you’d like to program.
- Turn your key back to the OFF position.
- Repeat steps 2-4 two more times.
- Turn your car to the ON position and *press the LOCK button**. Your locks will make a clunking noise to indicate you’ve entered remote programming mode.
- Press the lock button on the remote you’d like to program.
- Turn your key to the OFF position and remove it from the ignition.
- Test your remote** make sure the remote is connected.
