How do I program my new 2014 Honda Civic key? I just ordered a new key fob for my car, but I’m not sure how to connect it to my car.

Programming
key fobs
has always been a chore, but it isn’t too hard when you know what you’re doing. Follow these steps to program a 2014 Honda Civic key:
  1. Sit in your driver’s seat and make sure all the doors are closed and unlocked.
  2. Turn your key to the ON or II position, but don’t start your engine.
  3. Within five seconds, press the LOCK button on the key that you’d like to program.
  4. Turn your key back to the OFF position.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 two more times.
  6. Turn your car to the ON position and *press the LOCK button**. Your locks will make a clunking noise to indicate you’ve entered remote programming mode.
  7. Press the lock button on the remote you’d like to program.
  8. Turn your key to the OFF position and remove it from the ignition.
  9. Test your remote** make sure the remote is connected.
Hopefully, these steps can help you program your new
