How do you play music through Bluetooth in a Chevy Equinox?
How can I set up Bluetooth to play music in my Chevy Equinox? I’m not really sure how to connect my phone in order to play my own music, and I definitely don’t want to listen to the radio.

- Turn on your Chevy, but remain in Park. If you’re driving, your vehicle won’t allow you to change your Bluetooth settings for security reasons.
- On your vehicle’s screen, press the phone icon.
- Select Add/Connect to pair your phone to your car.
- Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings and ensure that your Bluetooth is on and is not connected to any other devices.
- In the list of available devices on your phone, select your car. If prompted, enter the PIN displayed on your car’s screen.
- On your car’s screen, select Pair. This will connect your phone to your car via Bluetooth.
- If you’re prompted, select Always Allow to allow your phone and your car to connect automatically as soon as you turn on your vehicle.
- Return to the main menu on your Equinox’s display screen. From the main menu, select the music icon.
- From the available options, select Bluetooth.
This will allow you to play music from your phone via Bluetooth!
