How do you play music through Bluetooth in a 2011 Chevy Silverado?
I was handed down a 2011 Chevy Silverado, and while I’m liking it so far, I cannot figure out how to play music through Bluetooth. How can I connect my phone so I can jam on the way to work?

I’m glad to hear you’re liking your new (old) ride! While Bluetooth pairing seems like it should be simple, there are a few key steps to take to get your music pumping through the speakers in your 2011
Press and hold the “Push to Talk” button on the steering wheel
Say “Bluetooth,” and then “Pair,” and you’ll be given a four-digit PIN
If you have an iPhone, go to Settings, then General, then Bluetooth, and look for “Your Vehicle”
Select your Chevy Silverado from the list of devices
Enter the prompted PIN found on your dashboard
Speak the name you want your Bluetooth to be recognized as
After that, you’ll hear confirmation that your phone was paired successfully, and you’ll be on your way to work with the company of your favorite tunes!
