How do you paint car emblems?
How can I paint my car emblem? I don't love the design or color of my car emblem, so I'd like to paint it.

If you’re unhappy with the color of your car emblem, you’re in luck! It’s a fairly easy DIY project. Here’s what you’ll need:
- High-quality urethane primer
- Plastic
- Tape
- 180-grit sandpaper
- Lint-free towel
- Primer sealer
- Spray paint
- Paint sealer
To start:
- Tape off and put plastic anywhere you don’t want paint.
- Use the 180-grit sandpaper on the emblem to help the paint and primer adhere.
- Wipe any residue from the sandpaper off with the lint-free towel.
- Spray a light dusting of primer on the emblem’s surface.
- Let dry and apply the sealer.
- Once the sealer is dry, apply your main paint color. You’ll need at least two heavy coats.
- Apply your paint sealer and let dry. You should now have a car emblem that you love!
