How do you open the Mitsubishi Lancer gas tank?
I’m no expert when it comes to cars, and my daughter just called me while out on the road because she couldn’t open the gas tank on her Mitsubishi Lancer. How do you locate and open the Lancer’s gas tank?

Oh no! That sounds like a stressful situation. You can let her know that there’s a release lever located on the left side of the driver’s seat in the
Mitsubishi Lancer
that she can pull to open the gas tank. From there, she can find the gas tank filler on the rear, left side of the Lancer. All she needs to do is slowly rotate the cap counterclockwise, and she’ll be able to open the gas tank.
She’s especially in luck if you live in
New Jersey
—she won’t even need to leave the driver’s seat to fill up her Lancer’s tank, as their gas stations are all operated by attendants!View full answer
