How do you open the hood on a Ford Edge with a dead battery?

My car battery died and I’m locked out of the car. I can’t open the hood to get to the battery to jump start it either. How do you open the hood on a Ford Edge with a dead battery?

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that, but I have a solution to your problem. Here is how to open the hood on your
Ford Edge
if the battery is dead:
  • Unlock the door using the manual lock and your keys. If you have an electric fob, there is a physical key inside the fob you’ll have to find.
  • Pull the manual hood release lever, usually on the lower left hand side on the dashboard, to pop the hood.
You’ll be able to open your hood in the normal way, it may just take a little extra work to get there. Fortunately, finding affordable
car insurance
