How do you open the hood on a 2007 Honda Odyssey?

I told my brother I would change his oil for him, but I’m having trouble with his car. I can’t figure out how to open the hood on his Honda. How do you open the hood on a 2007 Honda Odyssey?

  • Find the hood release handle on the lower left hand side of the dashboard
  • Pull on the handle until you hear the hood pop open
  • Slide the hood latch lever located underneath the middle of the hood
  • Release the lock mechanism and open the hood
