How do you open the hood on a 2001 Subaru Outback?

:- Open the driver’s side door and look to the bottom left of the dashboard to find the hood release lever
- Pull the lever towards you to release the first latch
- Reach under the Subaru emblem at the front center of the hood and move the secondary hood release lever to the left to release the lock
- Open the hood and prop it up with the support rod
