How do you open the hood of a BMW X5?

How do I open the hood of my new BMW X5? I want to check the windshield wiper fluid, but I’m not sure how to get the hood open.

New cars can be confusing, but no worries! The way that you’ll
open the hood
 of your new
BMW
 X5 will depend on the age of the vehicle.
If your X5 is from 2012 or later, pull the lever located in the driver’s side footwell two times. Your hood should pop open.
If your car is an earlier model, pull the lever in the footwell once. Then, walk to the front of your car and reach into the crack between the hood and the frame. Inside, you should feel a small release lever that you’ll need to pull to release the hood completely.
