How do you open the hood of a BMW?
I recently bought a used BMW. I’ve never owned a BMW before, so I’m pretty unfamiliar with the more specific features. I want to get under the hood, so my mechanic friend can look at it. How can I open the hood of my BMW?

To open the hood of your
BMW
:- Pull the lever located in the driver’s footwell. If there is a 2 on the lever, you’ll need to pull the lever twice to pop open the hood.
- Come around to the front of the vehicle and lift the hood.
- When you open your hood, be sure to use the pull-up rod to keep the hood stable.
