How do you open the hood of a 2005 BMW X3?

I’m going on a road trip in a few days, and my dad suggested checking the fluid levels in my car before leaving. It’s a great idea, but how do I open the hood of my 2005 BMW X3?

That’s some great advice from your dad, and I hope you’re excited for the trip!
To open the hood of your 2005
BMW X3
, you should:
  1. Pull the hood release lever on the left-hand side of the driver’s footwell near the door. The hood should lift a few inches.
  2. Feel around under the center of the hood for the hood release latch.
  3. Lift the hood and secure it using the prop rod.
In addition to checking the fluid levels in your car, you should review your
