I’m renting a car while I’m traveling for business this week and I need to fill up on gas before I drive to the office tomorrow. I’m unsure how to open the tank on the car and I’m worried I’ll accidentally break something if I do it wrong. How do you open the gas tank on the Toyota Sienna?

, opening the fuel tank is fairly simple. Follow the steps below to get refueling:- On the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel, find the fuel door release button and press it (Hint: it will have a gas pump graphic!)
- Exit the vehicle and go to the fuel door
- Manually pull open the fuel door
- Turn the fuel cap counterclockwise until you can remove it
Now that the fuel tank is open and the cap is off, you can begin to fuel the vehicle. Once you’ve reached your desired level, you’ll need to twist the gas cap back into place until you hear a click. Don’t forget to close the fuel door before getting back in the car!
