I just bought an Audi Q5, and it’s time for my first fill-up. I can’t seem to find the fuel door button, though. Can you tell me how to open the gas tank on an Audi Q5?

Absolutely, and congratulations on your new car! To open your Audi Q5 gas tank, just follow these steps:

Exit the vehicle
Head over to the passenger side
Locate the fuel door just over the passenger-side rear wheel well.
Lightly press on the left side of the fuel door and it’ll pop open

And voila! You’re all set to fuel up.

Audi’s direct-injection engines are designed to function best when you use premium fuel. That means you’ll need to be sure you look for at least 91 octane every time you fill up to ensure your Audi is always in peak shape.
