How do you open the gas tank on an Audi A3?

My parents let me borrow their car for a night on the town, but only on the condition that I bring it back with a full tank. I’m happy to fill it up, but I can’t figure out how to do it. Can you tell me how to open the gas tank on an Audi A3?

Of course! To open the gas tank on your parents’ Audi A3, just follow these steps:

Exit the car
Walk around to the passenger side of the vehicle
Locate the fuel door on the rear passenger side of the car
Lightly press on the left side of the fuel door, and it’ll pop open

Once the fuel door is open, you can remove the gas cap and fill up the tank. Audi recommends at least 91 octane unleaded fuel for their vehicles. Hopefully, you didn’t drain the tank all the way, because filling up with premium fuel can get pretty pricey!
