How do you open the gas tank on a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross from 2022?
I recently bought a new 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross for my daughter and I can’t figure out the gas tank. How do you open the fuel door to access the gas cap?

- Park and turn off your car.
- Look to the bottom left of the driver’s seat. Near the ground, you’ll see a small lever labeled with a gas tank icon.
- Pull up on the lever to pop the fuel door open.
- Exit your vehicle, then pull your fuel door fully open to reveal the gas cap.
- Carefully unscrew the gas cap to gain full access to your fuel tank.
Some newer vehicles will allow you to access the gas tank by pressing on the fuel tank door, but the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross isn’t one of them! As such, you’ll need to follow these directions in order to fill up your daughter’s car with gas.
