How do you open the gas tank on a Lincoln Nautilus?
I just bought a Lincoln Nautilus and am having trouble getting the fuel fill door open to refuel—how do you open the gas tank on a Lincoln Nautilus?

There are two ways to open the gas tank on a Lincoln Nautilus—the exact method will depend on your vehicle model year and/or vehicle body design. Older models tend to have a small upraised tab on the rear-most edge of the fuel fill door—if your Nautilus has one of these, simply put two fingers underneath the tab and pull the door open.
If your Nautilus’ fuel fill door does not have an upraised tab to pull from, make sure all of your doors are unlocked and then press in on the rear center edge of the fuel door and release—it should automatically pop open.
After you’ve got the fuel door open, you’re ready to put gas in the tank—there’s no gas cap to unscrew, so just insert the fuel nozzle into the tube and make sure it latches.
