from 2006, you’ll need to use the fuel tank release lever. Here’s what you need to do:- Look for the fuel tank release lever on the driver’s side floor to the left of the seat
- Push this lever down—you may be able to hear the faint pop of the fuel tank door opening
- Once done refueling, push the door of the gas tank closed until you hear it click into place
