How do you open the gas tank on a BMW X3?

I just upgraded to a new BMW X3 and I’m still getting acquainted with how it all works. I’m about to need gas, though, and I’ve searched everywhere for the fuel lever to no avail. How do you open the gas tank on this thing?

Unlike many vehicles, most

don’t actually have a button or lever on the inside! Here’s how to open the gas tank on a BMW X3: make sure your car is locked and in park, then push on the fuel door directly. Your fuel door should pop open so you can access the gas cap!
