How do you open the gas tank on a BMW X1?

My husband just purchased a new BMW X1, and we’re loving it so far. However, we can’t figure out how to open the gas tank on it. Any pointers?

Figuring out a new car can get tricky! Don’t sweat it though, discovering how to open the gas tank on a
BMW X1
 is easy! All you have to do is press the edge of your fuel door and it should pop right open. Then untwist the gas cap until it opens!
