I’ve rented a 2020 Subaru Forester while me and my family spend a few days on vacation, but I can’t seem to open the gas tank (I have to fuel up soon). How do you open the gas tank on a 2020 Subaru Forester?

Rental cars can be tough to figure out, especially if it’s a brand you’ve never driven before. The 2020 Subaru Forester gas tank can be opened with the following steps:
- Step one: while sitting in the driver’s seat, look to the left side of the floor to find the fuel door lever.
- Step two: pull the fuel door lever up to release the fuel door.
- Step three: exit your car and walk towards the rear of the right hand side of your car, where you’ll find the fuel door ajar.
- Step four: unscrew the fuel cap to access the gas tank and fuel up as usual!
