How do you open the gas tank on a 2017 Subaru Forester?
This sounds silly, but I’m pumping gas for the first time in my new car and I’m not sure how to access the tank! What do I have to do to open the gas tank on a 2017 Subaru Forester?

This isn’t a silly question at all!
To open the gas tank on your 2017 Subaru Forester, simply locate the fuel door lever. You can find this lever on the floor to the left of the driver’s seat. Once located, simply pull up and that’s it—the gas tank door will pop open!
Once your gas tank door is open, you can unscrew the gas cap and pump gas like normal. Then, replace the gas cap by screwing it on securely before shutting the gas tank door all the way.
