How do you open the gas tank on a 2017 Lexus RX350?
I’ve been borrowing my mom’s car while mine was in the shop, and I never got quite used to it. I want to return it to her with a full tank of gas, but I can’t figure out how to open the fuel tank door! How do you open the gas tank on a 2017 Lexus RX350?

You’re right that it’s just good form to fill up the gas tank when you return a borrowed vehicle. And if you’re used to driving a car from the
Lexus
brand, getting to the fuel tank can be a little tricky. But it’s pretty easy once you figure it out. All you have to do is press the right spot on the outside of the fuel tank door on the RX350
. First, turn off the vehicle and then when you exit, make sure the doors are unlocked. Now head to the rear of your vehicle and gently press on the fuel tank door. It may be a little tricky to open but make sure you’re pressing on the edge of the fuel door that’s closest to the rear end of the car. That should make the gas tank door spring slightly ajar. From there, you can push it open manually and unscrew the gas cap.

the best gasoline or fuel for your car
