How do you open the gas tank on a 2014 Chrysler 200?
I recently purchased a 2014 Chrysler 200, and can’t seem to figure out how to open the fuel door. On my last car, one side of the fuel door was raised so you could just pull it open, but this one lays flat against the car. How do you open the gas tank on a 2014 Chrysler 200?

Don’t worry! Opening the fuel door on a
Chrysler 200
can seem confusing at first, but it’s actually really easy. The 2014 model has a push-release mechanism, so all you have to do is walk around your car to the fuel door itself, push in on the center of the door, and let go. This will trigger the release and the door will pop right open.Then just unscrew the gas cap to open the fuel funnel, and you’re ready to refuel your car! Keep in mind that Chrysler recommends 87-octane, regular gasoline for the 2014 Chrysler 200 but using mid-grade or premium fuel won’t hurt your vehicle.
