How do you open the gas tank on a 2007 Dodge Charger?
I recently purchased a 2007 Dodge Charger but am embarrassed to admit that I can’t figure out how to access the gas tank. How do you open the gas tank on a 2007 Dodge Charger?
is fairly straightforward. You’ll just follow these steps to do it:
Turn off your engine
Locate the fuel door release button on the driver’s side door
Press down on the button with the gas pump icon on it
When you walk back to the back of your vehicle, the fuel door should be popped open so you can access your Charger’s gas tank. If that’s not the case, make sure your Charger is unlocked or the fuel tank door won’t be able to open. That’s because there is a security measure that prevents people from siphoning your fuel while your vehicle doors are locked and left unattended.
to refuel your Charger. You can use regular unleaded but for optimized performance, you’ll want spring premium gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. This is because premium gas contains additives for performance engines that regular unleaded doesn’t.
