I’m borrowing my brother’s 2005 Infiniti G35 while my car is having repairs done. The G35’s gas tank is nearly empty, but I don’t know how to open the gas tank. Do you know how to open the gas tank on a 2005 Infiniti G35?

. Here’s a step-by-step process on how to open the gas tank on a 2005 Infiniti G35:
  • Step one: Locate the gas tank door on the passenger’s side of the vehicle. It is usually located on the rear quarter panel, near the back of the car.
  • Step two: On the outside of the door, you will find a button. Press the button to release the gas tank door.
  • Step three: Once the fuel door is open, you should see the gas filler neck. Carefully insert the gas pump nozzle into the filler neck and begin fueling the vehicle.
  • Step four: After fueling, properly secure the gas tank door by pushing it closed.
Ensure you never let your car’s fuel gauge reach “E,” especially if you’re far from home or nearby gas stations!
