How do you open the gas tank on a 2005 Cadillac STS?
I have my dad’s Cadillac for the weekend, and I can’t figure out how to fill the gas tank because I can’t find a lever! How do I open the gas tank door on the 2005 Cadillac STS?

Cadillac STS
, just push the rear edge of the fuel door, and it will pop open. This model has no lever or button to open the fuel tank door. To remove the gas cap, turn it to the left (counterclockwise). Because the cap has a spring in it, it will spring back if it’s released too soon. While filling your tank with gas, hang the tethered fuel cap from the hook on the fuel door to avoid having it in your way.
Be sure not to top off or overfill your car. While it may seem better to fill your tank with as much fuel as possible, overfilling your gas tank should be avoided. Why?
