You’re probably missing a crucial step, which is your unlocking your
Acura RL
hood’s safety latch under the hood itself. Once you’ve pulled the interior release lever and popped your hood, go to the front of your vehicle and run your hand under the opening near the center of the hood. Feel for the safety latch and press it to the side while opening your hood. You should be good to go!
