Toyota Camry’s
key fob sometimes takes a bit of help. Refer to the steps below.Steps | How to open a Toyota Camry key fob (2018-2021) |

Step 1 | Remove the emergency key by first sliding the release tab at the bottom of the fob. |
Step 2 | Insert the lip of the emergency key (or a tiny screwdriver) into the bottom of the fob and turn to gently pry apart the fob. Done correctly, the fob should easily pop apart. |
Step 3 | Locate the old battery and lift it out with the edge of a small screwdriver. |
Step 4 | Insert the new battery, + side up (battery # CR2032) |
Step 5 | Press the fob back together until you hear it click securely into place; don’t forget to reinsert the emergency key back to its slot |
