How do you open a stuck gas tank on a BMW X5 E70?
I’ve been driving my BMW for years and have never had problems with the fuel tank door, but now it won’t open. Can you tell me how to open a stuck gas tank on a BMW X5 E70?

You know you’ve got a problem if the fuel tank on your older
BMW X5
no longer opens when you press the gas tank release button on the lower left-hand side of the driver’s seat area. To manually open a stuck gas tank on a BMW X5 E70, just follow these steps:- Head around to the rear of your BMW X5 and open the trunk.
- Look for a panel on the right-side wall towards the rear of the hatch and remove it.
- Pull the bright green knob in the upper right-hand corner to manually release the gas tank door.
This will allow you to access your gas tank and fill up your BMW X5 E70 when you’re in a pinch, but you probably won’t want to repeat this process for long. Your

likely won’t cover the costs of this car repair
