How do you open a Hyundai Genesis key fob?
It’s my first time having a key fob instead of an old-fashioned key for my car, and I’m a little intimidated by it. I think the battery is dying, but I’m not sure how to open it to check. Can you tell me how to open a Hyundai Genesis key fob?

You will need to release the metal key to open a
Hyundai Genesis
key fob. You can do this by pressing the silver button in the upper corner of your key fob, and pulling out the metal key. Once you’ve removed the metal key from your key fob, you will see two slots: a larger one that houses your metal key and a smaller one on top of it. Take the metal key and insert the tip into the smaller of the two slots and twist. With a little bit of pressure, the back of the Hyundai Genesis key fob should pop right off!
While your key fob is pretty sturdy and durable, be mindful of how much force you use to get it open. If you’re having trouble prying it open with the metal key, you can use a small flat-head screwdriver instead.
