If you’re not sure what it looks like, it’s a pull lever that’s labeled with a picture of a car with the hood open. It’s located above the driver’s side floorboard on the left side of the dash. Just pull the lever toward you, and you’ll hear a clunking noise that signifies you’ve popped the hood.
Once you hear the noise, go to the front of the car and follow these instructions:
Once you’ve topped off your fluid levels, remove the support rod and lower the hood until it’s almost closed. Let go of the hood and let it slam. This will ensure that it fully latches and the hood is secure again.
