Where is the lever for the gas tank of my new used car? I feel so silly, but I can’t figure out how to open the gas tank for my 2015 Honda Accord.

No need to feel silly! New cars can be complicated. To open a Honda Accord 2015’s gas tank, you’ll need to follow these steps:

Turn off your vehicle.
Check the lower left-hand side of your driver’s seat compartment until you locate a small lever marked with a gas pump icon. This lever should be just to the left of your feet in the driving well. If you have trouble locating the lever, check your owner’s manual.
Pull upward on the lever. You should hear a clicking noise as the fuel door releases.
Now, exit your vehicle and gently pull the fuel door fully open.
Unscrew the gas cap to access the gas tank.

If you have trouble opening the gas tank for your new car, it’s possible that your vehicle is experiencing some issues. Fuel tank doors can sometimes get jammed or otherwise stuck in place. In this case, it’s best to take your car to a mechanic before you run out of gas!
