To open a
Ford Fusion’s
hood with a dead battery, you will need to manually open the door with the key hidden inside your key fob. This will allow you to unlock your car, enter the vehicle, and open the hood from the inside.
Once inside your Ford Fusion, you will need to complete the following steps to open the hood:
  • Pull the hood release latch. You can find this on the floor of your vehicle directly below the steering wheel.
  • Next, exit the vehicle and walk to the front.
  • Pull the hood release on the right side of your vehicle.
Now that your hood is open, it’s time to grab your jumper cables and revive your battery. Or, if you’re not the do-it-yourself type, you can always just call
AAA
