Find the hood latch lever inside the driver’s side cabin. This will be beneath the steering wheel and to the left of the pedals. Pull this lever to pop the hood.
Walk around to the front of the car and slide your hand beneath the gap between the hood and car frame.
Use your fingers to push up on the metal safety lever and release the hood—this will be directly above the Ford badge on the front of your car. Meanwhile, use your other hand to pull up on the hood, opening it completely.
