I recently bought a used car. I need to check its oil levels, but I can’t figure out how to open the hood! It’s a 2010 Chrysler Sebring. How do you open a Chrysler Sebring hood?
hood, you’ll need to find two hood release levers.
You can find the first hood release lever inside your Sebring’s cabin. It’s on the lower left side of the instrument panel or left of your steering wheel and toward the floor, near the driver side door. Pull the lever toward you to release it.
Sebring hood is on the front end of your vehicle. You’ll find it just under the front end of the vehicle’s hood, near the center. Lift up on the latch to release it.
Once you open your hood, you’ll find a prop rod at the front end of your vehicle, which you can lift open and insert into the proper slot on the underside of your vehicle’s hood to hold it open while you’re checking your oil levels.
