To open the hood of your Cadillac SRX, first pull the hood release on the inside of your car, located on the left side wall at the foot of the driver’s seat. It should have a symbol of a car with a popped trunk on it. Pull it towards you to pop the hood.
Next, head to the front of the vehicle and run your hand underneath the hood to find the safety latch. It should be near the center of your hood under the front edge of the grille. Push the latch to the side while raising your hood and you should be good to go!
