How do you open a 2017 Jeep Cherokee gas tank?
I just got a Jeep Cherokee the other day, and it’s my first Jeep. I need to get some gas, but I admit that I have no clue what to do! How do I open the fuel door on a 2017 Jeep Cherokee?

- Push the fuel filler door release switch on the driver’s side door trim.
- Pull open the fuel door.
- Unscrew the gas cap.
- Insert the gas nozzle and refuel the Jeep.
- Remove the nozzle, hang it up, and screw the gas cap back on until you hear one click.
Push the fuel filler door shut, and you’re good to go!
If the weather turns icy and freezes the fuel door shut, don’t try to pry it open. Instead, push gently on the fuel door to break the ice. Then, push the fuel filler door release switch again so the door pops open.
