How do you mod a car in GTA IV?
I’ve read that I can mod cars in Grand Theft Auto to get some awesome new options. I know it’s a bit complicated, but I want to try. How do you mod a car in GTA IV?

If you know even a little bit about unpacking .zip files and coding, modding a car in GTA IV isn’t all that difficult. To mod a car in GTA IV, follow these steps:
- Head over to gtagaming.com
- Choose the car you want and download the files
- Highlight the files within the .zip or .rar folder and put them on your desktop
- Rename the files to the name of the car you wish to replace
- Open the folder in GTA IV > PC > Models > CD Images > Vehicles.image
- Drag and drop the files from the desktop into this folder
- Replace the old handling line in the data folder
