Making a car last as long as it can is everyone’s goal, and with these tips you should be in good shape to do so:
  • Accelerate slowly
  • Avoid slamming on the brakes
  • Don’t take it on rough roads
  • On cold days keep the speed lower until the oil has warmed
  • If possible, park inside as much as possible
  • Avoid letting either the gas or oil levels get low
  • Drive only when you need to
  • If possible, avoid parking on hills and using the parking brake
