How do you make a Dodge DVD player work while driving?

I want to entertain my kids when we take a road trip to see their grandparents, but movies always stop playing in my Dodge van when we start moving. How do I get my car DVD player to work while driving?

Long car rides with kids are hard, so it’s totally understandable to want to entertain them with movies. To make your Dodge DVD player work while you’re driving, follow these steps:
  1. Turn on your car.
  2. While in park, start playing the DVD of your choice.
  3. Select Menu, then select DVD Setup.
  4. Shift into Drive.
  5. Press Back on your screen.
Your DVD should keep playing! Just make sure to keep your eyes on the road since having a movie or TV show playing right next to you can be a little distracting.
When you go on a long trip, it’s really important to have good car insurance. But you don’t need to overpay.
