How do you make a car shine like glass?
My car’s paint job has been looking a bit dingy lately, and since the sun is nearly always out this time of year, I think that’s unacceptable. What is the best way to get my car’s paint to shine like glass?

To make your car shine like glass, you’ll want to incorporate five steps into your next car wash:
- Wash your car with a pH-neutral soap and the two bucket method—one with soap and one with for your rinse mitt, so you don’t leave soap suds behind.
- Completely dry your car using either an air dryer or a soft microfiber towel. Don’t leave any water spots.
- Decontaminate your car’s paint job with an iron remover and clay bar. These will remove excess micro-debris that is still hanging onto the paint.
- Paint correct using a paint and polishing compound correct for your paint color and finish.
- Seal coat the finish with a wax, ceramic coating, or sealant.
