Letting your friends drive your car in GTA 5 couldn’t be any easier. To learn how to let your friends drive your car in GTA 5, just follow these simple instructions:
  1. Swipe across the touchpad to enter the interaction menu.
  2. Scroll down to vehicle access.
  3. Switch vehicle access to read friends or crew + friends.
  4. You’re done!
If you want to let your friends drive your car outside of the virtual world, they can do so and still get coverage under your insurance, provided you give them permission. But if your friends want to drive your car regularly, make sure that they get a
non-owner’s car insurance policy
