How do you keep your car warm in the winter overnight?

Is there a good way for me to keep my car warm when it’s outside in the winter overnight? My car keeps freezing over, and a friend mentioned that it’s bad for my car to get too cold. I’d like to find out if there are any easy ways to keep it warm.

It can be hard to keep your car warm in the winter—but try not to worry! You can use these tips to keep your car warm—no matter how cold it gets:
  • Park in the garage so your car isn’t directly exposed to the cold.
  • Use a windshield cover to stop the cold from passing through the glass. Your windshield is the least insulated part of your car. Covering it can keep it much warmer than it would otherwise be.
  • Buy a battery-warming cover to make sure your battery doesn’t die from the weather.
  • Keep your car covered to stop ice from forming around the doors and windows.
While these tips can help, they don’t guarantee your car won’t get cold. Unfortunately, cold cars are just a part of the
winter experience
. The only part of your car that might be damaged by the cold weather is your battery. But keeping it charged and covered can go a long way in preserving its life.
