How do you keep the new car smell in your vehicle?
Is there any way to keep the new car smell in your vehicle after you’ve had it for a while? I really love that smell, but it’s starting to go away. If possible, I’d love to take some steps to keep it around.

Luckily, you can use these tips to keep your car smelling like new for as long as possible:
- Keep your car clean of trash or any smelly debris. Make sure nobody’s leaving food or drinks in the car—especially if you have kids.
- Use weather mats to keep your car dry. Moisture can sink into your car’s interior and give it an old, musty smell. Weather mats will collect water and keep it out of your carpets!
- Leave air freshener in the car. That new car smell is nice, but it isn’t natural. Using artificial fresheners can help that same smell linger for a little longer.
- Vacuum your seats and carpets often. Little crumbs, dust, and debris can easily find their way into your carpet. Regular vacuuming can stop the spread of dust and help you maintain a fresher smell.
