What’s the best way to jumpstart a Toyota Prius? I know how to jumpstart a gas car, but I don't know how to do it with a hybrid.

Jumpstarting a Toyota Prius Hybrid is very similar to
jumpstarting a gas-powered car
. But if you want more specific help, you can follow these steps:
  • First, you’ll need jumper cables and another car/car battery.
  • Once you’ve gathered your materials, you should attach your cables. Connect each red positive cable to the positive terminal on each battery. Next, connect the black negative cable to the negative battery terminal on the other car. You’ll then need to clamp the second black cable to an unmoving, unpainted metal point.
  • Start the working car’s engine and let it run for five minutes before you try to start your Prius.
  • When you start your car, you can disconnect the jumper cables in the reverse order of how you connected them.
