, consider investing in a jumper pack.Also referred to as a jumpstart battery pack, these devices act like a portable charger for your car. They hold enough charge to jumpstart your vehicle two or three times.
Ranging between $80-$200, they can be a useful investment for camping in your vehicle. These packs can be found on Amazon, Walmart, and some auto parts and outdoor stores. Some of these packs even allow you to connect a USB charger to keep your phone juiced up and have a built-in FM radio tuner and flashlight.
Remember that when you jumpstart your car, you want to leave it running for at least 30 minutes to recharge the battery, though it’s better if you can drive it around for awhile before turning it off again.
If you want some additional peace of mind, consider investing into a roadside assistance plan.
